Ce Conus guanche est endémique des Îles Canaries. Les Guanches étaient les premiers habitants de ces îles découvertes au Moyen-âge par un Français je crois! Cette espèce est assez variable tant en coloris qu' en dessin autour de l' île; de baie en baie chaque gisement développe son particularisme. Il est souvent confondu avec Conus ventricosus de la Méditerranée. Taille: 22 et 19 mm.
This Conus guanche is endemic of the Canary Islands. The Guanches were the first inhabitants of these islands discovered in the Middle ages by a French I think! This species is quite variable both in colors that drawing around the island; bay after bay each colony develops its particularism. It is often confused with Conus ventricosus from the Mediterranean. Size: 22 and 19 mm.
